Fire Industry is traditionally has been considered as a male dominated industry because of some assumptions like physical strength of women which leads to safety concerns or technical skills required for certain roles, leading to discrimination and limited opportunities for growth.

Balancing work demands with family responsibilities can be challenging for women in any industry, but it can be particularly demanding in security and fire roles that often involve irregular and odd working hours of a day, shift work, or being on call.Women's physical and mental health can affect their overall well-being and resilience in demanding security and fire roles which need to be taken care by providing adequate support system.

Addressing these challenges requires proactive efforts to promote gender diversity, support networks for women, Trainings, awareness about contribution in industry, encouraging leadership development and career advancement opportunities. Additionally, change in the cultural perception is the important need.

Women can definitely bring different perspectives, problem-solving approaches, and communication styles to the fire industry. "Women contribute to progress, and also protect against fire, Like the rivers Narmada and Adya, women are remembered as saviours.”
